What is KUG?
At the annual KISTERS User Group meeting for North America, users of KISTERS software products and services share knowledge and best practices for water, weather and environmental data management. Attendees hear first-hand about new features in their platform and development roadmaps. In addition to hearing about tools and skills directly from KISTERS, participants consistently value learning from one another from presentations as well as networking. Content and feedback from the event guides future product features and functionality.

The breakout discussions are important because we share/learn from others who are using (KISTERS) products. I like seeing the way others are using the programs and how I may be able to use it in my own program. Developing relationships with other WISKI users is the best way for us to learn about what really works and thus improve our own system.

Hands-on training is a great idea... More engagement with Kisters staff and customers (since) we value the relationship with those who give us technical support. Face to face communication is crucial for doing business in our industry. Presentations let me know about updates and techniques to the software that I use most intensely.
